The Reset Residency Project: A collective with the primary function of establishing a sponsored, website supported, live-music venue that features an Artist-in-Residency series featuring artists who are seeking the best tools to promote themselves in an effort to make a living performing and reproducing their art. A residency would consist of a set of consecutive once-weekly shows over a set period, i.e. every Tuesday for a month, or a 3 or 4 night run on consecutive nights. The admission is free, 18 & over. The artist would be able to sell music and merchandise at the shows and may receive a stipend from the bar percentage(TBD). Artists will be filmed during their performances and will receive a finished, marketable performance film created to serve the artists' sensibilities and best wishes for the film. We are developing a new model based on other successful efforts around the country while adding unique promotional tools and support built in, to fully exploit all available promotional channels for the artist. A "Publicity Package" is being developed to present a host of opportunities to the artists when they commit to a set of bookings. Local Radio & TV appearances, website support & social networking consulting are part of the pieces waiting for the artists in that package.
